Tim's
Biography
Tim has an unusual voice, rich in
tone and texture, and has been praised for his singing style
around the world. Tim plays a variety of guitars in different
tunings; this is one of the things that sets his music apart
from others. Tim tours with a large collection of instruments,
each one tuned for a specific song or ambience, creating a wonderful
tonal and visual spectrum for each song. The intricate tunings
combined with a sensitive acoustic balance allow the listener
to travel to new musical strata. |

Richard Sera
- keyboards, Backing
Vocals
From the ranks of Bob Rock and the
Payolas, to world tours with acts such as Tom Cochrane, Loverboy and Trooper, Richard brings a wealth of experience and a passion
for playing to the band. He has opened shows on tours with Bon Jovi, Bryan
Adams, Robert Plant, Aerosmith and many others. Richard is also a co-producer on all of Tim's albums.

Ray
Harvey - Guitars, Backing Vocals
As the other producer of Tim's albums,
Ray brings a unique insight to the live show. Ray has worked
with many top artists in the studio, and has played live with
Rock 'n Hyde and Rick Tippe. Ray's mastery of guitar sounds
is readily apparent on Tim's albums, as are his soaring backing
vocals. In addition, Ray has worked with dozens of other bands
as a producer and engineer, winning the BCCMA Producer of the
Year and Engineer of the Year Awards in July 1999. |

Lee
Smith - Electric Guitar
Lee has been a busy professional
in the Vancouver music scene since 1977. His guitar and vocal
work have been highlighted for years in rock clubs and gigs
with the C-Fox Electric Lunch Orchestra. Classically trained,
Lee is a versatile player.

John
Dryden - Bass
J.D. is a 25-year veteran of the West Coast music
scene. John was a member of Trooper for a number of years and
has also toured with Toronto, Headpins, and most recently Lee
Aaron. John is a talented player with a gift for the fretless
bass. |

Ronnie
Baran - Drums and Percussion
Ronnie has been attracting attention since he was
17 years old, claiming victory in Vancouver's first-ever Battle
of the Bands. Ronnie has drummed with Mike Reno of Loverboy
in his band Justify, and toured with Kirsten Nash and Jerry
Doucette. He and J.D. were the rhythm section for Trooper's
Last of the Gypsies album. In addition to playing with
the Tim Lawson Band, Ronnie writes and sings his own country-flavoured
songs. |

Keith
Bennett - Harmonica
Vancouver's Keith Bennett is a veteran singer and
instrumentalist. He has played harmonica with the Vancouver
Symphony Orchestra and can also be heard on the soundtracks
of McGyver, Lonesome Dove and the Chris
Isaak Show. He has performed live at the local home games
of the Vancouver Canucks for the last 7 years. Learn
