Lest We Forget Volume II presents a message of peace, and is dedicated to those who fought for our freedom. Internationally acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Tim Lawson brings us the second volume in a planned series of tributes to Canadian war heroes. Lest We Forget Volume II contains heartfelt wartime-inspired songs. This CD includes selections from his current album, Please No Talking, in addition to six new studio tracks, all capturing Tim's hope for a more peaceful future.

As the title indicates, Tim Lawson fervently believes we need to remember history and learn from it. That also involves ensuring the well-being of those who fought for our freedom last century. Released to coincide with Remembrance Day, Lest We Forget was dedicated to Canada's war veterans. Spoken word pieces and a reprise of such thematically-relevant Lawson favourites as "Wartime Letters" and 'Winter Rose" made for a heart-warming collection with a universal resonance.

Proof that Tim Lawson continues to hone his musical and lyrical gifts, with impressive results. His most varied collection of songs yet, it has elicited a highly positive international response. "Dawn's First Light" again shows an uncanny ability to bring events and lives from the past to vivid life, while other numbers share hard-won wisdom and further reflect upon the richness of his favourite topic, love. On the closing "Oh Man," Tim notes there is "so much ahead." For lovers of this man's work, that is great news.
