Timberholme Recordings is located in British Columbia's beautiful Campbell Valley. The studio is a dream of Tim's that has taken years to come true. It is surrounded by trees, fields and streams, making it a wonderful place for recording. This peaceful atmosphere infuses the music with a spiritual quality; a sincere appeal to the heart and mind. The utmost care is taken in the recording of Tim's voice and many guitars as well as all other instruments. High quality mics from the hi-fi tube days of the 1950's and as well as the latest 21st Century gear is used in concert to achieve our goal of sonic perfection and to make Tim's recordings an aural soundscape to get lost in.

Timberholme's studio is constantly being upgraded with state-of-the-art technology. The studio uses Digidesign’s ProTools systems running on Apple’s G5 computers recording to internal and external hard disks. The main recording system is Pro Tools HD3 which is a high quality 24 bit system with the ability to record at sample rates up to 192 kHz. These systems provide far more resolution and fidelity than the current Compact Disc standard. Various software 'plug-ins' are used by companies like Antares, DUY, and Waves. These software emulations can replace what used to be racks full of dozens of heavy pieces of equipment all needing to be connected with hundreds of metres of wire. Now a couple of PCI cards inside a computer do the work of all that and much more.

Another Studio feature is a rare "Neumann U47" microphone. Its special timbre is evident in the warm tones of Tim's single release "Only Those."
